The Rowell Covered Bridge in Hopkinton, NH, originally built in 1853, is a Long truss style bridge named for the family who owned the property next to it. The arches in this bridge were constructed of solid timbers, not ones laminated together, and the arches were embedded into the trusses rather than built along the side of them.
